Tobago
by Ayanna
Tobago
Outside my window there are few stars.
A light wind blows,
the curtains tremble;
A baby cries
the cats answer.
And as fireflies seem to bring sight
to an eyeless sky
and the moon sits in quiet contemplation
my world seems emptier.
I sigh
And think of you once again.
